Parts For Sale / Cobra roadster oil pan and S7MS 9424 A intake
« on: February 10, 2022, 01:34:55 PM »
Bought these from a friend of mine he said he has had both since early 70s . I have no reason to no believe him , and the intake was freshly removed from a running engine on a mustang he is restoring . Parts are located in middle TN . Payment cash upon pick up, Postal Money Order or PayPal as a gift or cover fees. I don't post here alot , but long time member before the crash and moderator of the old Fe Forum , so no fly by night guy. I ship next day and supply tracking numbers, and package well and fully insure for total amount of purchase.

Original Cobra Roadster pan no issues that I see. Pictures are just like I received it I haven't cleaned it at all. Asking SOLD for it plus shipping . Having that said I'd rather not ship it , do to rarity ,so if close I will knock shipping off. If shipped I will well package it and fully insure it for full amount and supply tracking number the day after payment is received. It will go out UPS grounds to lower 48 states.

S7MS 9424 A , Cobra intake. Cleaned with soap and water is all. Removed from a running engine not long ago. No issues or repairs that I see. Sold as pictured. $Sold shipped to lower 48 , local pickup I will knock the shipping off.

Cars For Sale / 1967 Cougar Dan Gurney replica
« on: January 13, 2022, 09:24:59 AM »
Helping a friend list a car for sale. He is a very very honest person and the build is top notch. These are his words below and I can put you in touch with him for more info if needed. Please don't tire kick on this he is losing a substantial amount of money on this build . If truly interested please call Alex Gabbard at 865 nine eight six 661one or email him at gppress@att.net. If those for some reason don't work reach out to me , thanks Lance

During late 1966, Mercury launched its new, European styling Cougar as a 1967 model that was so popular that sales nearly doubled the entire brand sales of 1966 models. Cougar was selected as Motor Trend magazines' Car of the Year, and to help launch the new nameplate, L-M Division offered a special edition Group 2 high performance version as the platform for a team of cars to race the highly popular Trans-American Sedan Championship. L-M's racing boss, Fran Hernandez sponsored Bud Moore of Spartanburg, SC to race the schedule in addition to other non-TA events. Dan Gurney, Team Cougar captain, and Parnelli Jones were lead drivers, among other noted drivers. The team won 5 races that season and led the Manufacturers Championship point race into the last race at Kent, Washington only to have "bad luck" stymie both Gurney and Jones to lose the championship by 2 points to arch-rival Mustang, Carroll Shelby's team. This car is a replica of Gurney's #16 Cougar car (with modern updates) in Team Cougar livery with period correct decals, period correct 289 engine with dual 4-bbl induction, T-10 4-spd transmission, and posi-trac rear with over-riders. None of the original cars have survived, and only four Trans-Am Cougars in Bud Moore configuration are believed to exist, all replicas.

My plan when building this car was to vintage race and attended two Walter Mitty events with track time, but no competition. Life issues side-tracked this plan, and it has not been driven for months, although stored. This car is currently licensed and insured as a street car. It was invited to Bud's 90th birthday celebration when he signed it under the hood and includes other memorabilia with his autograph and interview. The full vin number is 7F91C544412, I have receipts for over $136k spent on the car and offer it for $80k

As the ad says C7ZE D1 4 speed radiator, it is dated 7F21 . It is original needing restoration . Comes as pictured , I see no bad dents or real issues. Has had a few spots repaired in the core , but no real issues as more than like that would be replaced in restoration. Straps have came loose at the bottoms but again no real issue there either just trying to describe it as best as possible. $Sold shipped to lower 48 states. Feel free to contact me with any questions . Located in middle TN if picked up local I will knock off shipping. Also possible I could get it to Carlisle to the Ford show.
