I have a shelby document that says C4AE-6090-H heads came on 1966 Cobra 427 CSX 3101-3199
I have had a couple sets of these all came on motors from H&M both were side oilers, the doc comes from www.nvsaac.com/shelbyparts/heads.htm
It also has the listed for 1965 cobra 427 CSX 3001-3053 cast iron 427 low rise

I have always used valvoline VR1 never had any problems and the zddp is already in it, I have used in my 427,boss 302 and both the 68 shelbys with no issues

I also have a set of rods, they have polished beams

I have 2 on the shelf, I can part with 1, I only have 1 68 shelby now,

Who did you get the thick valve cover gaskets from, what manufacturer
