Someone posted a video of stills.  Looks like it comes in the form of a book.

Now if you had a blonde or a brunette sit on the roof of the car they would cave it in.  Times change.

Looks like the case is still pending.  The State Supreme Court overturned the conviction and case was sent back for a retrial.

The Lounge / Brainwashing tactics
« on: October 24, 2022, 11:27:28 PM »
Never thought I would need to use brainwashing tactics on my own kid to get him interested in cars. I am working every angle I can and believe me it isn't easy.  I have been taking him for drives in cemeteries with winding roads while he's visiting from Germany (no way would they allow that to occur over there). He's doing well for almost 14 years old. Plus he has some racing aptitude in K1 Speed and their indoor carting having won three races out of three (one with the kids and two more with the adults). But he just hangs up his helmet afterwards and he's done and on to something else such as his phone almost as if it never happened. I don't get it.
Car depicted is my father's 65 fastback.
As a further addendum, the 65 had only 10 psi of air in each tire. Terrible. I washed it and waxed it for him., started it and then pulled the battery before leaving with the hope he doesn't wreck said car on the street.

My son and I drove into Toronto last night to show him the sites. The city I once knew has become very car unfriendly. Four lane roads that I drove on in the past have been narrowed to two lanes on main thoroughfares like Danforth road including Yonge street and St. George that cuts through my old University of Toronto.
Narrowed. Bike paths installed everywhere.  One of the roads that leads to my college within the University has been completely closed and turned into a pedestrian path.  All this while increasing the population of people and cars.  With all the restriction of arteries Toronto deserves a myocardial infarction. No vaccine or Covid testing requirements anymore at the border at least.  Plus side is that I did see a Plum Crazy Hellcat Challenger downtown trying to make a narrow turn from a narrow two lane road onto Spadina which itself has been separated by a long and massive concrete island to percent any left turns onto side streets going or coming.

Very difficult to look away.  Such a thing of beauty (which is a joy forever for the poets out there.)

Here is a Youtube link that explains the car.  I have to go do an oil change now so haven't had a chance to watch to the end therefore Caveat Emptor.

I would suspect that the majority on this site have grown past such exhibitions of speed. But then maybe not.
