After hearing yiur horror stories, I have decided not to drive anymore....UBER time
Quote from: shelbydoug on January 16, 2022, 11:16:18 AMI think Kooec did something along those lines instead having bio hazard refuse signage on the trailer.
Use an unmarked enclosed trailer and put shovels, rakes and other yard tools in racks on the outside.
It will look like a landscapers trailer as long as you aren't pulling it with a Lincoln Navigator.

"He sang a couple popular songs in the 18th century or something..."Quote from: 557 on January 30, 2022, 02:57:12 PMNot all states have basic speed law. CA has 2 speed laws basic and maximum. Basic is what is safe for conditions - the cops opinion not yours (15 over posted will generally get you a ticket - 1mph over in a school zone with kids can also have the same results). The maximum speed law that says it's illegal to drive faster than 65 anywhere unless it's posted higher. Going into the canyons above Azusa/Glendora there are "end 45 mph" signs - that means you can now drive up to 65 and if the cop is happy that you and your car are safe doing it he won't stop/cite you.Quote from: deathsled on January 30, 2022, 01:49:04 PM. Well, basic speed law says as long as you are driving at a rate that is safe for the road conditions you are "good to go",so there is some "wiggle room" there.
Largest racetrack in the world. Just get out in your car and drive. Of course I say this in jest and do not endorse going over the posted speed limit even by one mile per.

Quote from: 98SVT - was 06GT on January 27, 2022, 04:50:31 PMThat must've been quite an impression to see one back then for the first time. I mean cars from the 50s did not have the same look so the 65 Shelby was quite futuristic.
I saw one in person for the first time parked next to a snack bar in the esses at Riverside May 2, 65 at the United States Road Racing Championship.
Quote from: hertzz350 on January 27, 2022, 12:42:00 PMI am totally with you. I consider myself extremely lucky to have one. Never far from my thoughts and thoughts can come at an instant and are easy to conjure before one moves on to something else during their daily activities.
I am rebuilding 6s689 as we speak, from being off the road for 50 years. I think about it all the time. Got my first one in 1981, 6s1855. Then my second,6s1297. Then my third 6s731. I only have 6s689 now though. When I see Shelby mustangs 1965-1970 my heart jumps a little. No other car has had an impact on my life.
