Doesn't help the op though for tire identification

It was the '70s  that thing is huge !

That looks like a CGI created on a computer , Batmobile's offspring, or a squashed Viper 

Ford (Mercury) vs Ferrari     '68 Mercury Cyclone ?

I believe a '64  ? T-Bird, white on white, (was the T-bird interior colour back then described as parchment ?)  An old girlfriend of

mine had one, early '70s  black on black, beautiful car !

I wonder when the photo in reply #3970 above was taken ? What about the security aspect, and possible damage to cars on an

open trailer, that wouldn't happen today.

Mind you back in the day that's how it was, here's an image of F1 cars at Watkins Glen in the 70's.

There was a Can-Am team 60's who the owner of said we would leave cars on open trailers in motel parking lots, and nothing

would go missing.
