Concours Talk / Re: parts markings

And also, as pretty much ALL of these stamps, markings, paint dubs , stickers, etc were applied by people, even two identical cars made the exact same day, in the same plant, may or may not have actually received the same treatment, by the people.

Virtually all repro moldings are junk... aluminum junk. And replacement door skins and qrt skins are pretty much the same, none fit well, seems the dies are worn out or improperly machined.

The Lounge / Re: Anyone seen one of these in person?

FB turned vert ??  Wonder what they did underneath? inner rockers, floor supports ? Interior seatriser  floor support installed ?  Without all the convertible structural pieces in place , that would be one twisty ride.

1966 Shelby GT350/GT350H / Re: Heater Box Rebuild
« on: April 19, 2020, 07:01:50 AM »
If I remember correctly... all the foam is self adhesive. Box repairs can be made with fiberglass from the inside, or you can try a 3M product called 8115..not designed for this but works well. Flapper will do well with a light bead blasting or just some good wire brushing. All Mustang vendors sell the kit to refurbish. Throw away the heater core and replace and double check or replace the blower motor... unless you want to do this all over again later . :)

Go with a road force balance. It will tell you everything you need to know about the tires.

Dave , never heard this term, can you explain? How is this done?

No pics, but it works well. Warmed up parts and brush on, melts into the metal and on occasionally driven car will hold up for several years.
