just above top center of front tire up about 5 " or so on inside front fender. Just be careful as I have seen past restorers sand off those s9ms #s  on fenders  hood  and valance panels and that hurts the value of original fiberglass.

Repait originals the back side finish is noticeably different and in center of fender u can reach up and feel the S9MS #s moulded in,

On the 67 battery J-bolt finish issue I have some nos c5az autolite packaged j-bolts (only ones I ever found in the old autolite package) and they have a whiteish powder like coating over the phosphate that makes them look silverish in color in that picture however the coating would dissolve after getting wet a few times and disappear. I think from new these j-bolts originally had this coating to protect them from battery acid or whatever. I showed my nos j-bolts to Mr G. years ago as he still is claiming the 67 j-bolts were cad plated but nobody has ever found any used cad plated and I had collected about 50 original of these over the years most from out west rustfree or new take offs and none were cad plated and there is no ford part # change only one c5az # used from 65 to 69. What is it THEY say extraordinary CLAIMS require extraordinary PROOF!! 

Hummm   note the 67 PHOSPHATE battery J -bolts in that great detailed photo!   Looks like a #  50 white on rh firewall.

Code L was for sohc  but it never happened. If I remember correctly ford had a engine code for both 2x4  and single 4 SOHC.

Tim just found another pair  so I got 2 sets both pitfree from California.

My # 10  nos heater and gt500 FE bypass hose clamps  are date coded 2/65   and  3/64   and these clamps are highly visable on top of engine.  I will sell them in pairs  limited quanity $40.00 a pair nos  USA shipping included .

Their was a buildsheet with the 70 GG/white gt500 dragpack vert we bought last july in Alaska  but masons got it now u can call him.

The bypass hose clamp has a smaller nut and screw thread size also used on boss 429 but not FE.

top of screens were painted gloss black along with the stripes I would think and my sign shop guy has my original kk tape stripe and I gave him all the lengths to make all 4 pieces and he ordered a roll of striping material so we are going to make enough sets till the roll is used up. This is too hard too guess at and would be hard to do by hand and wouldn't be consistant as too many curves so this 4 piece layout will be very easy to do right the first time. I gave nate one of my original 70 shelby KK stripe layouts to sell on ebay for the 70 Shelby guy who thinks they have to have ev erything.  Let me know how many 70 Shelby guys would want this stripe layout set of 4 so I know how many to have cut out as the more buyers the cheaper they will be sharing the cost as I got 3 people right now and need more?
