I'm pretty sure the instrument panel lights are not powered by the regulator.  They are 12 volts.   My guess is that you may have a loose connection or loose ground.  Get in there and wiggle stuff around with the lights on.

Parts For Sale / Re: 1967 A/C lines

How do the two years differ?  I've got what I believe to be a 68 pressure line - the sight glass looks smaller than the one pictured.  also have the larger diameter hose that looks same as pictured with a c7ZA number - the plating is hard to see in pictures.

Do Mustang Market panels have masonite (hardboard) backing?  Has anyone tried these?

Branda has them listed:

They are different than stock Mustang brackets and allow for the more forward location of the bumper.

QuoteI have been to 3 of these events back years ago 2 in montana and 1 in  calgary alberta canada and they were all great fun events with lots of things to do and see many kool rare cars in the northwest that never come to midwest or eastern shows .

+++1 My wife and I attended 3 or 4 of these back in the '90s.  Billings, Calgary, Spokane - Surprised at number and quality of cars, friendly crowd and beautiful venues.  Fairmont Hot Springs is a great location with a huge natural hot spring pool.

QuoteBoth of those switches look like the double pin style starting in 1968. At least to me.

Even non tach cars have the resistor wire in line from ignition to coil.  You should be safe putting the tach in series with that circuit.

This has been an ongoing problem with the upper Marti hose being too short.  Apparently they have not fixed the problem.  Do a search here  -  there are a couple other threads on the subject.
The only real solution I have seen is to find another hose with proper length and 90 degree bends and staple on the clamps.  Don't know about the part numbers but some have sent their own hoses to Marti for stamping.

Seller has acknowledged your correction in his description as of today.

Unplug one door jamb switch at a time and see if any change.

Could very well mean 30th day of 67.   Would this correspond with the build date of the car?
#45
Is there anything after the 730?    Mine have 297 and 298 but followed by E6.   This indicates 297th and 298th day of 1966.   Yours could be E6 or E7 depending on which year manufactured.   I believe the E is the manufacturer, Eaton.
