SAAC-42 / Re: Pictures from SAAC 42 / Indy 2017

A quick way on the Mac to get a file up or reduced in size is to take a screen shot of your picture from your screen.

Hold the shift key, command key and the number 4 all at the same time. There will be a cross hair symbol now where your curser was. Put that in the upper left hand corner of your image. Hold the mouse down and drag a box over what you want to capture. That image will be dropped on your desktop as a PNG file. It will say screenshot( date and time ).png

I have good luck with using that technique to get stuff on the forum quickly. Depending on how big your mac screen is, you can reduce the size you see on your screen before taking the screen shot-

Hope that helps

I recommend Intercity.

CA to Wisconsin twice
VA to Wisconsin once

All 3 times they did exactly what they said from a time line perspective and price. Cars were treated excellent and the drivers were very personable.

... since the air flow is constant, i experienced zero condensation. My garage floor in the spring would be damp, but inside the capsule was nice and dry. I had the same concerns.

I used the air inflated system for one of my cars. I live in Wisconsin and have an unrestored original Vette. I had a detached garage that was not heated or air conditioned. I used the inflatable system to store it in the winter and through the spring. It worked out really well for me. It kept the rodents from entering the vehicle. It kept the air circulating around the car so there was zero condensation or moisture on the vehicle at any time. It was super easy to install. You basically drive on top of it, hook up your battery charger and zip it up. It stayed inflated the whole season. There is a filter that goes over the fan that keeps the dust out as well. I was very pleased with the system and the overall cost vs. leaving it to the elements.

Here is an image of an original Magnesium R-model rim for comparison as well.

If my memory is correct, weren't there 2 different versions of the aluminum reproduction wheel. An early version, then a later version before they discontinued making them.I thought maybe it had something to do with the lug nut holes or the offset?

Up For Auction / Re: 1965 Sebring Cobra Banner

Rich, nice observation. I posted the pictures so quickly that I missed that. Good Eye. Interesting that they state:
"This banner is shown in historic photos and posters hanging in Shelby's shop in Los Angeles and in the garage area of Sebring in 1965"

Clearly, as Rich pointed out, the banners are different compared to the BW photo-

He should be, it would be super cool to have. The only problem is, at 37K, you can't put gas in it and drive it!!  ;D

Up For Auction / 1965 Sebring Cobra Banner
February 23, 2018, 11:35:45 AM
I subscribe to Garage Style Magazine and received an email blast the other day. I scrolled down and it listed that the 1965 COBRA banner from the SA team sold for 37K at Mecum. Wow, totally missed that one. I recalled the Friedman pictures of the crew working on the cars and it hanging in the background. I posted the link and a few pictures. Did anyone see it at Mecum?
