The Lounge / Re: Respec gt500 shelby debut at SEMA
November 04, 2019, 08:34:12 AM
Thanks you guys.     The wheels are 17 inch 1 off proto types.    tires are unique also.     We did a lot of cool stuff on this car as far as  suspension and drivetrain.   Lots of body work also.  The goal was to make all the body lines and gaps perfect like a newer car.   CDC  I think  did the facebook part.   I posted a lot of our part on Instagram.  Will try to find some pics.

Up For Auction / Re: Barrett-Jackson Las Vegas 2019

I saw the KR years ago at Les bears  when I was there helping him with some stuff.   Car had original tires and hub caps  was pretty impressive.   Looks like someone  decided to keep some of the expensive rare parts on car gambling people at auction would not realize it.

The reason cost is high.   Cars are being pulled off assembly line and brought to Penske facility and then painted by a human not robot and then clearing virtually entire car again.  They are burying  the stripes in the clear and will  have a much nicer finish from what I am told.  Not crazy when you think about the extra time spent  and and virtually painting  an entire car again.

Just my 2 cents from a bodymans standpoint.  lol

I use 5887. It is really easy to use and is self leveling so it lays out really smooth

Yes it is a flexible bumper repair but works good for me. You don't have to go back over and smooth out.
