Its only original once. You can repaint it like original but the paint is not original and doesn't look original. My car came sunlit gold but was repainted blue. I went back to gold but put lemans stripes on it so it wouldn't look so plain. Just love it. Its nice to keep with original color but its not original. Go back or forward but don't get to hung up on the original thing. You can make it look like original but its only original once.

A few years ago I got a new clock from a vendor. It looks oem and the second hand ticks. I still have the original I plan to have it repaired.

Yes I got the complete wiring harness from headlight to taillight from the Coralsnake  some years ago. The plug and wire colors were just like original and they were at a great price.

When I was 18 I got my first new car. Acapulco blue with parchment Mach 1. I clicked on video and it came rite up. Had it for 20 yrs and put close to 300,000 miles on it. never repainted it. Did change out interior with a 70 Mach 1 black interior.

Yes my convertible has the original spring. When you turn the key you better be holding it down or it will knock you in the head.

I hate to but in, when I got my car back in the day it didn't have the large cover. All that covered the large opening was duct tape. Did some come that way from factory.

On my 68 Shelby one taped under dash and one under front seat springs. My 69 Mach1 had one under front floor carpet and off subject my 2001 cobra had one between back bumper and foam block under trunk. The only way I found it  was a little bit of the corner was hanging out under car.
