Anyone have a set of door panels they are willing to sell, NOS or used in good shape?

Otherwise any opinions on what manufacturer or which parts supplier makes/carry a good set?
I've not done an interior for 20 years but back then manufacturers had fibreboard and plastic backed panels, some of the panels didn't have foam and were very stiff.

Also any opinions on the brushed aluminum for the door panels and dash?

I'm not aware of the Z VIN prefix being on any paperwork for the 67's.

Do any of the states require the Z prefix on title documents?

photos of the front and rear engine bay aprons aren't clear enough to tell if the spot welds are original or not.....or even there on the driver side

If you are driving the car Bob makes a very valid point about the transverse muffler heating up the fuel in the tank. Has anyone installed just the resonators or mufflers in place of the resonators and then had tailpipes routed to the aluminum collector? I'd be quite curious how a system set up like this would sound/perform compared to original.

Anyone done this and care to comment?

Many of the cars are not the originals. Toolroom copies from Gelscoe and the likes are common.

There have been parade laps with original cars like 917's, well spaced out and sometimes with famous drivers that are past their prime but a huge draw to see them in cars they ran in period.

It's a different league, literally re writing what guys like Penske did, seeking the "unfair advantage".

If you want to see cars run hard. Goodwood is the place. It's not often you'll see valuable cars driven so hard they are literally broken in half.
