I've had a 488 that has been in a car for almost 30 yrs. It has a Barry Grant carb and runs spot on.
Tremendous power and torque......about 600 of each.
The engine is old school from 1990.
We use the car at the track and beat the hell out of it.
Today one could easily add the roller cam set up and make it even more powerful and reliable.
A rocker arm broke once. Dove's service and knowledge was great.

Steven Juliano may have curated and/or certainly lamented on his cars as much as anyone.....I miss that guy....Godspeed Steven.

There really are so many, Drew Serb, Lynn Park, etc.

Sorry for hijacking but you have enjoyed your car pal.

The 1997 registry allowed you to look up an owners name and it listed which car/cars that person owned with the current owner being in bold. That went away with the last round of registries.
For those that have the new registry, what do you like/dislike or is different in the 2019 version?

A great story......it just sold on Bring a Trailer

It had some really strange modifications.....the front end has the craziest helper springs.....it had one of those old style pick up bug deflectors, mounted in aluminum rail.....sadly it was removed.....almost as unique as the owner was.
