Ya know ... I started ...built my car from a hubcap... dreams start somewhere... then I find out 65 Shelbys did not USE hubcaps... kept MY dream alive .. advised people of others .... found sold and ... keep the spirit alive... do what u can ... who is to say...?? LOVE the CARS

I seen that .. that is why I posted my question. It looks like they went under the "perch" which doesnt make since. His car also has the underride traction bar where as the 65 has the overrides. Does this shot look "correct"?

Mark you are doing a SUPER job on "everything" the car is wonderful the documentation since Teenager years and stuff is GREAT... LOVE IT... Thanks so much for sharing.. and keep it up. Thanks for answering my email:) :) :) :) :) :)

Yes they did ...found my answer at Virginia mustang Blog of Brants 66.. ok next question is where the cable wrapped the axle..outside spring mount or somewhere in between... ?

Have you checked with Midlife? He is a member on www.vintage-mustang.com He refurbs underdash harnesses and might be of help. Hope this helps.

On the 65 Shelby did they reuse the cast iron thermostat housing on the aluminum intake or something else?? C40E????

The "eyebolts" that the axle limiting cable are attached to, are they the same as the seatbelt eyebolt used in the 65 Shelby and Early 65 (64 1/2) or something different?
