Thanks for sharing, these are good examples of how a "close or similar"design can be end up being so different. And in these examples that difference would have changed the mustangs popularity, which would have changed our cars. I doubt that rocker or Le Mans stripes could have saved Some of those concepts  ;)

Thanks Richstang;
Have not seen those either. I keep thinking that there must be LOTS of hand sketches or concept drawings out there. I want to think that it's like all those vintage Disney cell or hand sketches that are supposed to be completely under lock and key but seem to keep showing up on EBay.
I have seen good examples of where movie star's have autographed promo pictures  where you can see great detail of the cars in the back ground. It could be a new source of historic car pictures.

THANKS Richstang!
I too really like these type of hand sketches. Can you  help with the name? My images came from the internet and they are not clear. Also, how did you get yours? If you look at yours and the ones I found on the internet, they must be a lot more somewhere. What do you think?

This is probably old news to many here, but its new to me, so I am sharing with those like me that have not seen these concepts before. Especially  the trunk air brake operated with cougar components. The rear spoiler sure looks familiar

Interesting that there are people with this much disposable cash (not me haha) but frankly I would rather have a real Daytona Coup for the this amount of money. Of course I could wear the Daytona watch into a famous 4 Star rated restaurant with a young starlet on the other arm, but I am sure it would be more fun to take her on a drive on Mulholland Drive (like the Monkees TV show) and scare the $%&# out of her (and me ) in one of the 6 original Daytona Coups.

Replicas and Tribute / Cobra Replicas on TV
August 13, 2018, 11:46:29 PM
This looks like a replica Cobra based on the 1993 TV show date and not one of the later continuation models. I'm not an expert by any means to know. Maybe some can identify it based on close up of the dash or the rather unique license plate number. Cant be many starting with the name of a body function  ;D

From the TV it looks like it's FE powered, but since I am small block guy I can tell what size it is. I am betting the Big Block guys can  ;)

The Lounge / 10,000,000TH Ford Mustang Built
August 13, 2018, 10:38:07 PM
Seems like only yesterday it was the 1966 1,000,000th one built.

Ten million cars is a lot of cars. Only about 25 nameplates have ever crossed that mega-threshold and now, Ford adds its Mustang to that list. The Blue Oval invited owners of all 54 years out to its Dearborn, Michigan, headquarters and then to the Flat Rock Plant, where the Mustang has been built since the fifth generation began production in 2004.

Please excuse the pictures from the TV, again  :) If its too much , I can move it to its own thread.
Filming commenced on 16 February 1965 for Thunderball - a  British spy film and the fourth in the James Bond series

This Convertible needed to get modified by Holman & Moody , like the pace cars haha

Looks like dog dish hubcaps where in style back then Non HiPo fairlane.

Of course these pics would not be complete without one of Bonds famous one liners:
