I thought that due to the emission rules in 1970 they upgraded the 70 model with a 70 model distributor.

To you who own a 70 Gt 500,what is the date casting number on your distributor?. How I understand this is that the 70 models should have D0TF casting number, can any owner enlighten me here?

My seat in my 70 Shelby is a little worn down, the original seat upholstery seems ok,I was thinking about changing the seat foam, my question is: who makes the best seat foams?, any recommendations.

What would be the correct date code for the plug wires fore a GT 500 produced 21/2-1969. Fourth quarter of 68 or 1 quarter of 69?

Is there anyone in Mayfield Ohio who remember the above mentioned car?, this car was owned by a man with the name Greg Edinger. The car was used in some drag strips around there in the late 60s early 70s,the car was put aside in 73 and brought out again in 2003 and then shipped to Norway. If anyone has some info, please PM me.
