You have come to the right place! However you will need to give us some background information in order to help you out. I am sure others will pop in and assist you in your search. It all begins with what information that you provide.

I believe this to be an original tag. Do you agree?

Wonder if that is of the white Hertz cars sent to San Francisco. Based upon the time period. it very well could be. Hope that Randy sees this picture. I had never seen this one before.

That plate number SQY 459 was assigned to SAI company car -  Used by Finance Manager.

Received yesterday and all is good! The packaging was ripped, but the Registry was in-tact. Appreciate all who were involved in getting this done. The efforts that are required to collect and maintain these records is monumental.

Thanks again to SAAC for continuing to be the guardians of history that they are. I also hope some previous owners will become curious of the current status of cars they have owned and will reach out to SAAC and connect with current owners who always want to know more about their cars history.

Most likely came through Koon's Ford which provided cars to Dulles. There were a total of 32 1966 Hertz cars that were rented out of Dulles.

Does anyone have a clear picture of the corner marker signs shown in the picture in reply #12? Been searching and can't seem to find anything on it.

Thanks

My car #816 was one of these as well and also sold through Holiday Ford - Sunnyvale, CA. It was part of the Pico Rivera Inventory cars.

I believe that 6S2160 was original green and not the white shown.

I assume most conversation is related to the GT500, but I do have a GT350 that received a new louvered hood under warranty according to paperwork received from Dave. The number is 2584. Replaced 9/25/67 three months after purchase.
