I would be willing to do that BUT, I can't contact him.  I'm in Canada and he will not answer a call from my area code.  I tried to email him through CL, but no response.  That's why I was hoping someone on this forum who could contact him might be able to help me with the transaction.

Fred did mine last year and certainly lived up to the expectations I had after all the recommendations I got to use his services.

Would also help if we knew whether your car is an automatic or 4 speed as I believe the carburetors are different.

Agree with Randy - nice car but many reason why I also don't think it deserves a #1 rating from what I can see.

1966 Shelby GT350/GT350H / Re: 1966 Seat Belts

6S1575 has Ray Brown Belts that I am quite sure are original.  I've met or exchanged info with a couple of other members on this forum with cars in the 1400 - 1500 range that had Ray Brown belts as well.

1968 Shelby GT350/500/500KR / Re: Best solid Lifter Oil

I use the same oil and additive in my 289 hipo.  By creamy, do you mean your oil is milky or creamy in color?  If so, that is usually an indication of water in your oil, which would not be good.

1966 Shelby GT350/GT350H / Re: Pittman arm?
January 20, 2021, 07:02:11 PM
For some reason I thought of this thread the other day and thought that I recalled seeing some yellow paint on the pitman arm on 6S1575 - 2nd or 3rd week of March 66 build.  I got under the car today and cleaned up the part and found more yellow paint than was apparent before the cleaning.  I assume this is an original part but have no way of verifying that.  Just thought I would add another data point and picture to this thread.

And $297K all in for the green Hertz 6S1051 !  Has to be a record or close to it for a 66 Hertz from what I can recall.

And while we are on the red & white theme, here is 6S1575 in a somewhat less inspiring location.

That is unfortunate.  I wanted to see pictures, as most would - and if it was as advertised I would certainly buy it.  I've been looking for a Fellini-Mayfield dealer emblem for several years now.

If so, please PM me.  I found a dealer emblem from the dealer my car was bought from - on Springfield Mo Craigslist, but am having trouble contacting the seller.  I believe that might be because my attempts to contact the seller from Canada are not getting through.  Thanks, John

Ford GT / Re: Video of Ford GT in snow
January 06, 2021, 06:28:28 PM
I get that it is in Norway.  Just saying could be up here - or anywhere else there is snow.  I remember doing stuff like that for fun in my Mach 1 back in the 70's as many others did.  They were all just fun cars back then - expensive or not.  Almost no one put them away for the winter.  You just learned how to drive them on slick roads and hopefully stay out of the ditch.

Just looks like a nice cruise through the hills on a snowy day up here in Canada to me.
