Found this online.  Is it correct for the vintage shocks under discussion? 

Rebound Adjustment Procedures

Remove the shock absorber from the vehicle and hold it vertically with the lower eye or pin attached in a vise. Use clamp plates to prevent damage.
Fully collapse the shock absorber, at the same time turning the dust cap or piston rod slowly to the left (counterclockwise), until it is felt that the cams of the adjustment nut engage in the recesses of the foot valve assembly.
Some shock absorbers include a bump rubber concealed under the dust cover and it must be removed prior to adjusting.
The damper may have already been adjusted. Therefore check whether the shock absorber is in the adjustment position or not by keeping it collapsed and gently turning it further to the left counting at the same time the half turns until a stop is felt. Stop turning then and do not use force.
Keeping the shock absorber collapsed, make 1 half turn (180 degrees) to the right (clockwise). In case of prior adjustment add the number of half the turns previously found. The total range is about 5 half turns.
Pull the shock absorber out vertically without turning for at least 1 cm to disengage the adjusting mechanism. The dust cap or piston rod may now be turned freely.

Meant to say hard to believe a 62 AC Cobra with a 260 was 3/10ths of a second faster than a 66 427 Cobra.  What say you Cobra guys ??

Is it just me that finds it hard to believe a 62 AC Cobra with a 260 in it was only 3 tenths of a second slower in the 1/4 mile than a 66 427 Cobra ??  Yes, the 62 was lighter, but the math does not seem to make sense.

One OEM black sun visor - visor only, no posts.  As new / perfect condition other than a couple of small corrosion spots on the inside chrome tab. Let me know if you have any questions or if you want additional pictures.  Asking $100 or best offer + the ride.  John

I could be wrong but I doubt your insurance company requires that they know how much you sold the car for - just that it was sold, and when, as you claim it was.

Thanks for posting.  More 66 GT 350's for sale than I've seen the last few years.

It sure worked for Porsche and others.  I'm a little surprised it has taken them so long to plan to do this. 

The ad in the upper section of the attached picture refers to the over the counter Holley / intake kit that was announced in '66. 

If they are the same as used on the Cougar convertibles, yes, they were chrome.  I re-chromed the set I had on the Cougar vert that I used to own.
