Just to clarify, the pilot was never filmed in Hawaii, just the opening song  sequence. 8)

A little trivia about "Gilligans Island" introduction.  Many scenes were filmed in Hawaii using Coconut Island in Kaneohe Bay for the island in the distance.  The marina shot was Ala Wai harbor near Waikiki.  In one quick marina sequence,  there is an American flag at half staff in the distance.  The scene was scheduled and shot the day after Kennedy died.

They are coming out with a limited run (10) of another Shelby Series 2 production.  You can put a Ford engine in the roller this time around. 8)

Did he ever test an automatic?  It is interesting to see his coat and tie dress code for the press photos. 8)

Don't forget that special note about the brakes in the owners manual.  Has anyone followed the instructions to run your car to 60 mph and use a full pressure stop to set the brakes?  I wonder how many rentals did that as well. 8)

We have automotive paint suppliers that will mix the proper paint and load it into aerosol can.  You might have that option in your area. 8)

Sammy told us the problem when there were reduced speed regulations in the early 1970s. 8)

No.  The publication is for members.  I could scan and post but am not sure if that violates any copyright regs.

Best to see if you know anyone in the Antique Auto Club of America in your region to have a peek.

There is a nice article about a green 1968 GT500 fastback in the Jan/Feb 2024 AACA "Antique Automobile" magazine.  The owner inherited the car from her father, who first let her drive it as a teenager.  The car has been recently restored and the owner has lots of original memorabilia. She drives quite often. I do not know the VIN.  The Shelby is owned by Sarah Patterson, wife of Gary Patterson, president of Shelby American in Las Vegas.

Just the usual amount of sun, surf, rain and rainbows here with exceptional seasonal influx of visitors escaping what is happening around the country if they can get a flight here. 8)

Down to 68 degrees overnight.  Should be 80 degrees again today, sunny with a few clouds and light breezes.  Surf in Waikiki about 2-3 feet, North shore 15 to 20 feet, down here on the south shore bout 3-4 feet.  Lots of visitors jaming the roads trying to get to the beaches.  No snow on Mauna Kea this week, lots the week before.
The running of the ponies and snakes continues. 8)

The only registry for a 2006 Shelby Mustang that I know of would be the Shelby American registry which only verifies the car information to the current owner.  It is not to be confursed with the published SAAC Shelby Registry.  That registry is neither printed or available to the public p but they will verify the validity of the car to the owner. 8)
