Not trying to get in a slinging match,

Did I miss something with the eBay car or is it a Dynacorn rebodied car with VIN numbers cut out of the old car and welded into the new with pieces transferred over?

Replacing a fender or a trunk lid would be fine if most of the original car is there. I could think of better investments for $159,000 then a full Dynacorn car.

I would pay $159,000 for the black one in the vintage add though.

Just my two cents,

At $50 a rim you could use them on a shopping cart for that price.

It is the Standard Marti Report. That is the least expensive of the reports available at Marti.

Deluxe and Elite Marti reports are more comprehensive and cost a little more as you go along.

Make an offer you are happy with and wait it out.
Somehow, someway it will all work out as it should.

There are so many beautiful cars out there with nice owners. For me that is all part of the Shelby experience. Getting taken on a car would forever ruin it for me and take the enjoyment out of owning the car.

People have treated me the way Carroll would have wanted and I do the same. Walk away from the others.

Might seem a little to idealistic, but kindness and fairness go along ways with me.

I hope you find that right car for you.

OK back to my dreamcar hunt..1967 white GT 500...1968 Acapulco Blue GT 500 KR convertible.. and nice owners.

That has happened in the past to me. When I brought it to the attention of the dealership they shrugged it off and said that’s business.

I made a fair offer on the car and kept looking elsewhere. I found a nicer car and got it at a high but fair price.

I guess the satisfaction came a few days later when the original shady dealership called wanting to talk price..I guess everyone else was on to the racket... I told him I bought another car already.

I never looked back. Karma as they say is well..

Great place to get those hard to find items.

I’m looking for a 1969 Space Saver Canister.

Firstly does anyone here have one? The car is pretty much 99.9999 but I still have at least one arm and a leg left to buy one :)

Baring that I have located a canister but need a little help to determine if it will fit the bill.

The one I found has a full can label on it that says space saver and is in Black and Yellow. My hunting says the 1969 Can has a bottom third label that is in black and silver. If I purchase the other one with the black and yellow label and remove it to place the silver and black label will that work?

I understand that the 1968-1970 bottle is a different diameter then the 1971.

I would have posed pictures but it is not possible now without a third party hosting site.

Let me know brothers what you think.

If I was fortunate enough to find that car I wouldn’t care about the cost to bring it back to it’s full glory.

The folks you will meet will far outweigh the cost and exceed the “continuation car” examples by a car length at the finish line.

The 68 GT 500 KR is one of the most beautiful and sought after cars of all time. To have a white one is a holy grail car IMHO.

Pull up your sleeves, the guys here will help you out, so be very happy with your purchase.

Thanks for sharing.
