Thanks Ed. Ordered it.

From what I can see it looks like only one is needed.

Hope thatbis correct.

Thank for the reminder Coralsnake.

Thank you as well for helping me with the 1970 Shelby GT 350.
I am in the final stretch on that car thanks to your help.

So much knowledge here with all the guys.

So glad the site is back up.

The placement and tidy appearance of the power steering lines on these cars seems to vary.
Does anyone have a good set of photos for this?

I have seen some cars where the "loops" are seen well down past the bottom of the car floorpan line.

It also seems that there are special line stainless steel line fasteners to hold the lines in place in some of the photos i've  seen. Are those "correct" If so where can they be purchased?

Open for any tips and suggestions.

Many thanks,

Stubee

Thank you Ed. Appreciate it.
Just trying to finish off a few little items.
There always seems to be another one that pops up.

The parts from Meyers Cars are first rate. Ed and Nate always deliver!

For the door panel. The main Handle has a "C Cup• plastic liner. What is the correct fastener/ rivet to be used there?

I.e. Size, aluminum or steel?

I have seen a river there but was wondering what it was and where to get them. Perhaps it was just a standard available rivet.

Many thanks,

Just curious is the heat shield mounted on #2060 on the outside of the hooks or inside against the manifold?
Do you have a picture of the hooks and heatshield on the car?

It seems there were many variations on lots of things during production. Always fun to see the exceptions.

Thanks everyone for the input,

Those are the 351 W engine lift hooks.

I would like to see how the bolts and studs work for the attachment of the hooks and heat shield.

I just ordered my parts from Special Ed. Now I just need the proper fasteners..

Looks like AMK Exhaust manifold bolt set RLK 6 and AMK Engine lift hook fastener kit AMK352 will do it. Could and expert weigh in on those items and steer the newbies along :)

For Jeff: would you happen to have a few more pics to show how the hooks and the shield are attached with the hardware?

Thanks for the interest in the topic. This is one area that has always been a frustration. The info from the veterans about the 351 W is very much appreciated and explains why there just are limited parts out there for this area.

Special Ed PM sent.

Thanks fo the replies guys. That helps me a lot. The pictures and the explanations made it very clear.
Only problem is I went into the meyerscars store and am like a kid in a candy shop. I've been there before and loved the parts that were sent.

Many thanks again,

I had a look around at the various suppliers and haven't had any luck finding the manifold shield and s Tube for the 351W.

Where should I be looking for these items?

Many thanks in advance,
