I remember this car. It was at Mid America in 1989. About 4 or 5 Mustangs and Shelbys were racing down Hwy 412 to Hallett. I remember us passing it. It was on an open trailer. I should have pictures of it somewhere. I do not remember if it was green or white at that time, but a few years earlier I do remember a green one at Hallett with huge flares.

Trying to post a picture have reduced size more than before. But I always get this (The upload folder is full. Please try a smaller file and/or contact an administrator.)

What size drill bit do you use to drill out rivets holding the door tag on and where do you buy the new rivets?

Had a Shorty's on Iron Resurrection style block party yesterday.

Thanks everyone for the help. I will work lightly with the tag. I would really like to keep the original. I am thinking it would be best to leave it on the door, so it has the correct pop rivets.

Thanks Shelbydoug and KR Convertible. Shelbydoug that rear end tag is long gone. Which is a bummer. KR Convertible I bet you are right. He was talking about the door tag.

Bob I just reread you response and see where you said silk screen is on the tag. Are you talking tag for the third member. If so that was gone before I bought the car. If not where are you talking? I think someone used the car for autocrossing or light duty track time. Due to other modifications.
