Hello DynoMax,
I do have a complete left-hand fastback quarter panel cut that should have the bracket you're looking for still attached. If you would please PM me your phone number I'll call you and text pictures.
Thanks, Karl Moser

289 Hipo Engine, Correct K code 9 inch differential, correct over ride or under ride traction bars,  correct Ray Brown seatbelts and certainly the correct 9000 RPM Cobra tachometer.  Those are my top five but there are ALOT of other things also.
Good Luck

Saw this on eBay, thought I would share it with the group. Glad I own mine already, don't know if I could justify buying this one.

Bump. Anyone?

I have to tell you, I'm not positive. I have had this discussion several times in the last few days. My thought is it is the 1st or the 32nd week of 1966 cast date. I'll throw it out as a question so we can get the definite answer from the Shelby gurus.
Thanks

Parts For Sale / 2 C6OE-A 1966 iron water pump cores
March 12, 2019, 12:39:46 AM
I have two 1966 C6OE-A iron water pomp cores for sale.  They are both complete and have the stamped cover plates. Neither one has the Hipo style impeller but would be very easy to rebuild as such. Each will require a thorough cleaning but are excellent cores. Both are FOMOCO, one has a cast number of #32 and the other has a #1.
$200.00 each plus actual shipping cost.
Thanks, Karl

What it be possible for you to post some pictures? Either of the section you need on your car or from the manual.

6S281 has the washers and the original correct long bolts. i'm positive they are original to the car, I remember them from 1972 when it was purchased from the original owner.

According to the original owner, 282 had a dent in the right fender. The body shop repaired it and painted the stripe back on that section. Don't know why they didn't just order stripe from Ford.

Circa 1976. A picture of my car, 6S281 on the right. 6S282 on the left in Albuquerque New Mexico where they were both sold new at Richardson Ford. My buddy David bought 282 from the original owner, we were quite shocked to find they were consecutive serial number cars. I would love to know where 282 is today.

I have a follow up question on this topic please. In the pictures that are posted some of the rivets appear to be painted black, others appear to be aged natural aluminum. I would assume that the quarter panel inserts and the inside of the scoops were painted black prior to the scoop being riveted to the quarter panel. I imagine that natural is correct. Painted rivits or natural?
Thanks, Karl
