Best of luck finding your 68. Do you know the Vin number? Could certainly be helpful in tracking it down, registry etc.
I sold 6S281 in 1983 which I had inherited it from my brother in 1974.  Found it in 1993 and stayed in touch with the gentleman who had it, was able to buy back in January 2017, awesome experience.
Persistence pays off!

1966 Shelby GT350/GT350H / Re: Points and condenser

Thanks, Randy and Bob.
Good to know, turns out the points I had already purchased are the correct NOS points and I purchased a correct FoMoCo condenser on EBay just now. One more correct piece of the puzzle completed.  I appreciate your experience and willingness to help. I'm sure there will be many more questions to come. Thanks again, Karl

Hello All,
Another question, more research. 6s281 was born at San Jose in the middle of October 65. Do we know if it came originally with Autolite or FoMoCo stamped points and condenser?  Also wondering about the 12 V coil lead, distributor to coil. Is anyone making an exact Concours correct coil lead?
Thanks Mucho, Karl

Concours Talk / Re: Brake Hoses -assemblyline vs service

I appreciate the thought on running my original hoses, honestly never thought about it, definitely worth a good look.
Will the service replacement hoses be a problem in concourse level two?

Hi Guys,
6s281 has not been driven since about 1989, hope to change that in the next 24 months. Both the front and the rear brake hoses are the original single crimp, but I would obviously not trust driving with them at this point.  I have located and purchased NOS service replacement double crimp front hoses.  I will run the service replacement hoses but would really love to have the original style Single crimp. Is anyone restoring the original hoses? My ultimate goal is to restore the car initially to a high level of concourse 2, will the hoses even matter?
Thanks very much as always, Karl

Wanted to Buy / Need one OE early 66 leaf spring.
September 20, 2018, 11:11:38 PM
Would like to purchase one early 1966 original leaf spring, or at least the bottom leaf that has the part number stamped on it for 6S281. Stamped part number;  C4ZA5556S     237E5.
Any help would be greatly appreciated as always.
Thanks, Karl

Still looking for June, July or August 1965 Hipo heads. Complete or bare, must be non-ported and rebuildable.  I would buy yours straight out or trade for a very nice set of November 2 65 heads that have been professionally mangafluxed and checked. * LOCATED AND PURCHASED *
Thanks, Karl

Are there any records that tell which 66 cars came from SA with the ABS package shelves?  I assume it was also a Ford, over the counter available option also?
Thanks, Karl
