PM Me

And here I thought you had the club roster and that besides me (since I moved 9+ years ago), there might be someone in the group that is close to the requested vehicle  ::)

PS: You need a reason to take a trip down RT100 and up RT 422, you know you do  ;)

Door tag is missing and I have ordered a registry but, trying to fill in some pieces of the puzzle. Like ownership history and what info is in the registry on it, was hoping to share a little info over Christmas but, does not look like registry will make it by weekend.

1965-1966 Shelby Registrar

Howard Pardee: saachp@snet.net

This is who you should direct your inquiries to if you only have the Ford VIN stamped into the inner fender panels, and the underhood "SFM" tag is missing.

Parts For Sale / C7DF-L 289 V4 manual transmission carb
December 21, 2022, 10:32:09 AM
Motorcraft C7DF-L 289 V4 manual transmission carb
Fits many Ford engines, but I believe this would be an original replacement for the 67 Mustang/Cougar with a 289 4-V and a 4-spd. Without thermactor emissions control system (IE: not stock for California)
Rebuilt several years ago, and used for a short time on my old 69 GT500 just to move it around my garage while the stock carb was out at Drew's shop for restoration.

$350 obo.

Serious inquiries only.

Maybe it's just me, but could you please elaborate on what constitutes "spam" ?

I assume it does not refer to the meat product.

"Spam" is a reference to excessive multiple posting across multiple forums and threads. The earliest spam was usually a fundamentalist religious tract, a political rant, or an advertisement for items that clearly nobody on a forum such as this would want. Work from home schemes and scams, get rich quick type posts. Spam can also be unnecessary, unwanted, or repetitive off topic content. There are dozens of different definitions of what spam is, but the simplest is that Spam is any kind of unsolicited digital communication.

Hope you find this helpful.

CSX2009 the Essex wire car. I read it would spit two foot flame out the hood scoop at start-up, hence the nickname. Was this a "backfire" through the carburetor? Was it running a Holley four barrel or Webers? i hope now that McCluskey has tuned it ,  it no longer has that bad habit. What block was it running when racing? Still cast iron, with what intake manifold? Dry sump or wet?
Well documented in print already:
