does anyone know the date of the article mentioned?   MK

there was a topic about a guy from PA. trying to sell a suitcase,  Someone posted a neat article about buying a cobra and the cross country trip that followed. I was wondering what the date of the article was?

Why are some topics "locked"?  Can they be unlocked?  MK

Charles;

    I believe the kick panels are for a convertible, not a fastback????????   I'd buy them if they were black.  MK

Concours Talk / Re: Concours rule change
March 13, 2018, 02:10:53 PM
it is interesting to note that the concours standards can be so different for different makes and models of cars.  I am in agreement that if you are going to show your car in concours then it needs to be restored to it's particular original state, including exterior color.  For instance, in Austin Healeys,  they have written concours guidelines.  They allow original color changes,  road worthy tires, and  upgraded valve covers and coils without deductions.  The nicest part is the WRITTEN guidelines.  That way the standards are shared by all, not just the elite few who have done countless restorations.  Why is it we don't have written guidelines?

Hey guys I could use some help.  I didn't know what section to put this in.  I have an old 56 healey and the batteries are behind the two front seats.  There are two six volt batteries.  They are connected to the battery terminals with helmets.  The helmets are brass and the terminals are lead.  I can not separate the helmets from the terminals.  I've tried everything. Any suggestions????

Pete and Tim;

    I hope I did this right.  I haven't posted a picture in awhile.  I went back and was looking at prerestoration pictures of my 1968 Shelby gt500 convertible.  It had never been restored, other than a cheap repaint.  If you look closely you will see, what I believe is the, original luggage protector.  I'd love to know what ever happened to it.

What length(s) do you need?  Do you need a luggage protector strip for the passenger side ( behind the spare tire)?  How is the strip cut as it meets the floor mat?   Thank you .  MK
