1966 Shelby GT350/GT350H / Re: Parking brake warning light sensor
« Last post by 6s1640 on October 25, 2021, 08:59:29 PM »
For what its worth,  I checked to with 2 San Fransisco GT350H owners, and both their cars have the hand brake light, 6S835 and 6S836, both with brake booster. In some old notes, I am showing 440, 476 and 524 also have the light, all delivered S&C Motors.

6S1640 GT350H, delivered to Scottsdale Arizona does not.

Below is a copy of the installation instruction for anyone cares for the details.

Thank you all for the input.

The 381989S grommet with a FoMoCo logo is the C8SZ part so not sure if it was available in 1966 or not. The good thing about those is you can still find NOS, plus they appear to me made of a more flexible and heat resistant material, I've pulled several out of original Cleveland valve covers with no issues.

I have seen others in the later 66 time period with FOMOCO in block letters inside the rectangle.

I have seen these in late covers. Ford 381898S and it includes the FoMoCo® logo. Cover kits were sold for years by Ford post any car using them.
