OEM TOP?
« on: April 08, 2020, 06:30:20 PM »
Any recommendations on the best place to get a replacement (white) OEM convertible top with split glass rear window for my 1968 GT 350?

Thanks in advance.

Epilogue:  Still not sure of the best place to buy an OEM top, but I did find a great place to get the entire job done, and THEY have the connection for the best top.  Entire job was under $1,700 all in.  You can't tell it from new - split rear window and all.

If anyone in the North SF Bay Area needs upholstery work or a new top, PM me and I'll give you their information.  I was very happy with the outcome.

Agree- great looking car too!  I've always wondered if anyone has developed a way to put a type of headliner in a convert to clean up the interior look?

Thanks to you both for the thumbs up!

The price included replacing what I guess passes for a headliner - the black padding on the sides.  But I was surprised that there also seems to be a bit of thick black fabric throughout the top.  Not sure if the originals came that way but this has it.
