Probably got their inspiration from Bloodshed Motors's Zombie 222 in Austin. Personally if I were interested in an electric car I'd prefer it be an old school Mustang.

Zombie 222 is a few miles from me. It's an amazing piece of machinery and crazy fast. However, when you start it, you hear a slight wirr, and that's it. I want to hear something different, but still respect the concept, and the quickness is undeniable.

Electric vehicles are cool and can be really fast, but there's more to the motorsports obsession than just acceleration. This little guy at a Moto-GP event channels my gear-head infatuation for the 'ol internal combustion engine!

You'll never see this enthusiasm for a Tesla.

I've always been a Ford guy, but they are testing my loyalty by calling a four-door SUV a Mustang and an electric motor a Cobra Jet.
