It was famous in the 60s for sponsoring Gas Ronda and his drag cars - He was lured away from Downtown Motors with a fresh Thunderbolt and then he got in on the ground level with Mustangs. One reason he moved was to be near his engine builder Les Richie who owned Performance Associates and also raced Mustangs.
The dealership also sold tractors in the early years and in the 80s changed hands. It had sat empty for several years while the city decided what to build. Then ended up putting in condos but at least showed some historical imagination with the street names.
