I saw the demonstration model several years ago at Carlisle, know someone in NJ that has one. They rattle when driven on the highway and twisty local roads, but they do look exceptionally cool  8)

Interesting how seamless it blends. Wasn't there an R Model in Belgium that was actually turned into a coupe back in the 60s?

KR Convertible

I have a hardtop for my Fbird.  It was on the car when it was delivered, but hasn't been on since (9 yrs).  Weighs a ton.

Fast Fords

I have a brochure that does a coupe into a Mustang convert. Coupe maybe easier to handle but still probable weighs a lot to put on.

Thanks for posting, that's pretty neat, I wonder how it's bolted down ? on a convertible maybe they use  the latches at the

windshield ?

Here's one I have in my files in England in the 60's, looks like a convertible with a fast back, there is that seam at the rear fender ?

A convertibles A-pilars are completely encased in stainless; that has to.be a fastback.

Nope, that's an actual Fastback.  No break at the Windshield Top area.

That would be the one, Mike. Sad to see it chopped up like that.

My friend has a weird car that "could have been" done in Dearborn(no docs yet). Looks real close to the prototype 63 Mustang II(built off of a 64.5 hardtop). Built off of a hardtop. I helped him take off the hardtop the first time he did and I can attest to how heavy a removable hardtop roof is. Gary

Claude Dubois was the driver at that time if I remember well.
I could find more details if needed.
