Still waiting....I think we will be disappointed.

Look at the white one....Now we can see where GM gets its design, they steel it!

The retro design from 15-17 years ago would have hit the mark.

I saw that vehicle at a Ford Carlise one year and YES that was the one that would have hit the mark as you say!!! Why the hell did they not make it??? When I hear of the "New Bronco" I think of the Kinks......"So tired, tired of waiting, tired of waiting for youuuuuuuuu"

Yes, I remember seeing the '04 concept and thinking "THAT will sell." Naturally nothing came of it. One of many questionable decisions by FoMoCo management in the mid-2000s.
Every post I make comes with an implied request for corrections. I'm here to learn.

They tease the market with the 2004 Bronco concept that was a home run - even with it's baby 4 cyl diesel. Then can't understand why their "new" 4 door repurposed SUV with a Bronco nametag fails after so many people were sure they would buy one when they saw it in 2004.

I think the baby diesel was/is the perfect engine for a small ute.

I liked it too but it wasn't realistic. They were using a euro motor that had no prayer of ever coming to the US.

And the car near or next to that Bronco at Carlise was that "forty9" another car they could have made......

The one that got like 65 miles to the gallon? Yeah not even now since dieselgate.

Probably not even available in Europe anymore.
