Just wondering if anyone can help ID this cam. It came out of the HiPo 289 I'm parting out.  From what I've been able to find, the HiPo solid lifter cams were marked "VE" (actually an upside down "A" instead of "V" but can't type upside down here). The 260 hydraulic lifter cams were marked "UA." This cam is marked "XUA" but does have the orange paint behind the distributor gear like the HiPo cam. The engine did have solid lifters. Any ideas?

I suspect that the UA is the ID mark. You can measure the lobe lift and find out for sure. Take the lobe lift and multiply times 1.6 rocker ratio and then you have the valve lift.

A mild hydraulic cam like that would run OK and survive easily with solid lifters. The same UA marked cam was used in most low performance 260 / 289 / 302 engines through about 1970.
