windshield tape

My source for the rolls of what they called Butyl caulk tap  has changed,  doesny one have a source for the correct thickness  believe its 5/16  in.  the gooey black stuff

C.R. Larurence is a glass supply company we used to order all our automotive glass supplies from them when I worked as a glazer

If you are using a reproduction windshield, you may want to consider using the 3/8" butyl tape because the glass is thinner and it can cause the trim to sit lower than original.

That's what we've had to do
