Thanks for sharing your story
I really enjoy hearing other's stories.
This Mach has been in my wife's Family since Jan. 1970.
Restored twice, actually first time was a basic paint job and engine cleanup and paint back in 1985. Then full-on ground up restoration in 2010. It has a lot of it's original parts, besides paint and few things connected to the engine, all parts, where feasible, where original restored. It has the complete original interior with the exception of the "NOS" dashpad I found back in 1985. Even the Styled steel wheels and center hubcaps are original. Beauty rings are repops. The original engine and tranny was meticulously gone through the same year 2010.
Also retains original drivetrain. Lower A-arms and all tie rods are new Moog.
We drive this Mach and the 67 coupe 289 car that my late Dad-in-law bought the same year I met his daughter, 1979
Married in 1982, she was 18 and I was 20
