Bronco release date announced
« on: June 15, 2020, 10:01:21 PM »
On July 9th the new un-Bronco will be introduced. It's also OJs birthday - I wonder how hard Ford's Icon Protection Team worked on that one?

“We want to create vehicles that that make people smile,” Marentic said. “We don’t plan to spend a lot o money on marketing. You don’t become an icon. The customers make you one. We’re just curating them.”

That's a whole new level of bad timing and bad taste if you ask me.

Unless they have a limited run of 32 with his signature, it's probably a case of "Holy sh*t, we never even thought about that date."

Now, every story about the debuts will show photos or footage from the infamous slow speed chase.

Current:
2006 FGT. Tungsten. Whipple, HRE 20s, Ohlin coil-overs, 3.90 gears. 210.7 mph.

Kirkham Cobra. 482-inch aluminum side-oiler. Tremec 5-spd.

Formerly:
1968 GT500KR #2575 (1982-2022)
1970 Ranchero GT 429
1969 LTD Country Squire 429
1963 T-Bird Sport Roadster
1957 T-Bird E-model 3-spd stick

I guess it might have been a coincidence but Ford better realize their error and move the release date.  Move it by one damn day but don't leave the release day of the new Bronco on OJ's birthday.  If the media gets a hold of this it will be a field day for them.  Wake up Ford.....change the release date of the new Bronco..... save yourself for love of god!!

Maybe they are counting on the free ink they'll get on the news with an OJ link. We'll be able to tell if their commercial has a new white Bronco in it.
