I believe Clone65 is referring to these below the wiper. See pic which are missing from the car.

I believe those are '66 wiper arms, not '65.

Two different styles were used in 65. It depends on when the car was built. early 65's were like your picture. Later 65's had a different cowl and didn't use the chrome rings. The later 65 wiper arm did have the flange like 66 but was polished stainless and chrome instead of the dull stainless .

Thought that might me it but he never responded. The example I posted is from a 65 Shelby. As Bob posted not all had the threaded on bezels and straight sided wiper arm bases. Approx about 40% or so of them  ;)

Valve covers are "tall" repops for use with roller rockers. Could be a nice original 65 with mods...

Yes sfm5s0000, those are the ones i was referring to, i have lots to learn as i didn't know of two different styles. Thanks for the info👍
