My 67 500 had/has same wheels..They are14by 6 and I am pretty sure we’re put on along with low profile tires because of the sagging springs ::)air shocks too.....The spare which is an original speedway 350 is on a crusty mag star though.......

Mine suffered the same affliction (saggy springs and air shocks) when acquired. I pulled the air shocks out, put in a set of Koni's and quickly realized the air shocks where on it for a reason - and not a good one. The air shocks went back in until the restoration started. Live and learn.

The question isn't what did he replace her with but rather who... ;)

.   Just a heads up...air shocks are a mistake on a mustang....Too much pressure on the upper mount if it’s bearing weight due to weak springs...Good way to blow the sheet metal out through the top..lI got lucky as I hammered on that car back in the day when I had the air shocks on..l :o :o

Here are a couple of pictures of #1317.
June 3, 1977 to be shipped to Sweden and still in it's original Lime color.
Repainted in Signal Flare Red (Mustang 66 code 5 color) in 1978.

My GT500,# 910 and owned for the last 12 years. First pic was taken in the early 70's with previous owner and the rest almost 40 years later. Still has 90% of her original paint....Greg.
