Anyone know of a reputable rebuilder?  I would like to get my C6OE-A water pump rebuilt.  I am in California, but not opposed to shipping out of state.

Thanks,

Greek

If you use him, please report back.
I sold 2 different FoMoCo aluminum 289 water pumps on eBay. He purchased one of them, and a random guy bought and drop shipped to Flying Dutchman.

I have used them as well with both small block and FE water pumps with favorable results each time.

Best of luck

Jim Cowles in Green Bay just did one for me.  Looks nice.

Got my pump back from Hart Bros. Core Co. (Oregon) and they did a very nice job. I had previously done the tubes myself (next time let them do it), but they went through the pump and did brgs/seals, put in the Hi-Po impeller, new back cover and gaskets. I asked them not to paint it, so they put on a primer.
I did buy the Hi-Po impeller from them, so that saved at least one direction of postage.

I would recommend them.

You can also purchase a kit from Dead Nuts On and rebuild it yourself. I purchased a kit last year but haven't got a around to rebuilding mine.

Received my rebuilt water pump today from The Flying Dutchman.  He did a thorough rebuild and primed the exterior.  I also had him install the correct impeller.  I am happy with the rebuild, and Wade was great to work with.  Great communication!
