Need 5 but will consider any quantity. Any condition also considered so long as they are restorable. Must be original 14 x 6 PAINTED with 3.375 to 3.50 backspacing - I already have chrome ones. No Granada/Monarch wheels, please!

Just curious - are the chrome vs painted wheels the same besides the chrome? Couldn't the chrome just be stripped and wheels painted?

They are the same. I intend to strip the chrome ones that I have if necessary, but would rather avoid the time and expense of doing that if a suitable painted set can be found.

Given how unpopular the painted wheels once were, I am hoping someone has some laying around that got changed out for chrome ones or ten spokes during some long ago restoration.

They were manufactured the same, but are not part marked the same.  The painted version is missing the "C" in the chrome version 795C.  I know of a few cars that have the chrome wheels that have been painted and no one knew the difference.

Best of luck

Hey Bill - Been a long time, and it's good to hear from you.  I love a good painted magnum wheel GT350 (:  Good luck with your search.

Bill, I've got a set of 4 original gray Magnums from my 66 GT-350 back when I owned one (6S524).  They've been sitting up in my rafters since the 80's.  Back then I had them powder coated, but wasn't satisfied with the color, too light, too much gloss.  Decided to run polished 7 x 15 Pantera wheels instead.  I posted some pictures of them here way back when I use to frequent this site, but looks like all my postings are long gone.   ???

You can paint chrome ones gray, but I think the seam on the gray rim was a bit more visible than on the "C" part number chrome version.

I'll drag them down and post pictures later.   They need to be stripped and repainted.
