Tasca Ford, April 1966

I wouldn't be nervous at all about the cars on the hill.  I'm sure they have a brick or fire extinguisher blocking the wheels....

If known, it is nice to state the dealership location.  Thanks. 8)

Couldn't find a good outside shot. Foulger was Ford's VP for high performance and then got a dealership in Monrovia CA - building now gone.

Russ Davis Ford was my hang out - even though I worked at the Chevy dealer across the street. I crewed on a Fuel Altered and the driver was a mechanic at Ford. Started in the early 1900s with Model Ts and tractors lasted until the late 70s. Buildings still there Ernie the Attorney has a couple great youtube videos on it. Gas Ronda was lured from Downtown Motors to drive for Russ Davis - he was also a car salesman there.

Not a dealer but Les Ritchie's Performance Associates in Covina built SAs drag cars. The non descript commercial building is still there - it was near Balllenger Headers and Covico steering wheels. Les was killed in 1966. His son reopened Performance Associates in nearby San Dimas but has since closed it due to health problems.
