Any body notice anything here odd?? I see LOTS of pics out there of this area and they all have holes in the sides of the cowl. Is this normal not to have holes? I'm looking specifically at 67 Shelby's and mine has none? Seems odd...

Any ideas? Thanks!

JD

I think those are for alignment of the parts to locate properly prior to welding.  You can find similar on other sheet metal around the car.  Others will know better...

I think he's referring to the holes on the side of the cowl like 65 66 bodies have. Don't remember if 67 68 have them. Dont think so

Between "7R186958 and 7R189290."  I did not check if that is beyond 67 Shelby production.

Thanks everyone!! That explains a bunch. My car actually though is in the 7R174600's? It was built March 23, 1967, San Jose. I'll try and check my buddy's car too, his is the consecutive car to mine from San Jose. This helps, I thought I had something else! 👍👍👍
