Yes!  I just received word from Steve Hall, the Executive Director of the Mustang Owner's Museum that we actually have a car event to attend!  It's the Carolina Cruise scheduled for Saturday, September 5th.  The cities of Kannapolis and Concord, NC have approved this cruise which will take place along
a 14 mile stretch of Hwy. 29, between the Kannapolis Minor League Stadium and Charlotte Motor Speedway.

The Mustang Owner's Museum is inviting all car enthusiasts to join The Carolina Cruise on Hwy. 29 for a free day of cruising. They are hopeful it will turn into a long fun weekend for visitors. (Yes, the event is free.) As you may know, car enthusiasts throughout the United States have found most of their
events cancelled, even their club meetings, leaving them
with basically nothing to do with their vehicles.

On September 5th, the Mustang Owner's Museum plans to change that by creating a fun car cruise down Hwy. 29.  Please come out and show everyone what classic blue oval power looks like.  Spread the word.

Cruising should start around 10 am.

Sorry but I will not be able to. Still sounds like fun if only to set up a few chairs along the route and watch.

Thanks Brian. Hope there's a big turn-out and they do it annually.
Pictures and a report will be appreciated.

I'm not, that is a pretty busy stretch with tons of lights and traffic and it seems like it's just a cruise wherever/whenever, not structured or anything.  My car  just does not like sitting in traffic, but at least temps are only forecast in the mid to upper 70s for anyone who does go.

Are you running ethanol based fuel, pure gas or race fuel?
