I believe Coralsnake said it was painted the wrong shade.  I would love to hear his thoughts on it.

It's the right shade to me.

What he means is it doesn't match the special color chart. Some do but are still wrong. ;)

The car does not appear to be painted its original color. There were three shades of orange.

This looks too much like Calypso Coral from the photos.

3397 was originally painted a different color (orange)

Isn't the Coralsnake Calypso Coral? This looks more orange to me.

I think this car is an excellent deal at current offering, wrong color or not. I need to be careful. I'll talk myself into it.  :)

Coralsnake

Yes, the "Coralsnake" is Calypso Coral (1968 code WT 5185)

Its nickname is from a previous owner.

And.....the fender bolts are painted the same color too

I'm not a concourse judge but that's got to drop the value.

OK. So how much are new bolts?

Coralsnake

You need a lot more than $10 of bolts to make it concours.

For something 99% of people will never be involved in, its amazing how much attention we give to "concours"
