Just looking at the great info provided and noticed different VIN on each sheet....”Z” code for engine on one and “Q” code on other. Is that common ?

Not uncommon
Every B9 started as a Q code 428 Car.

Those are internal Ford invoices.
Not window stickers.

Thus,...following the car from Q  code Mustang to B9 configuration.

I had the original invoices for KK2039 back in the 80s thanks to Lois. My dash VIN was NEVER changed from Q to Z. I have seen the pics a few years ago now has a Z dash vin. HMMMM. Invoices were just like the ones above with Q going to KK, Z going to dealership. Gary

Another piece of paper ! is this for Shinoda's Boss302 prototype ? his name is in the 3rd line from the top, dated Oct. 15th. '68.

calls out the design centre & 1R building at the bottom left.

You guys know more about this, is that the right dealer code, and V.I.N # ?

If It's for the Boss 302 proto, does this car still exist ? I have some pics in my files, but from back in the day.

Found that invoice here, Facebook page, you don't have to join to view, when it prompts you to log in, just say no, and carry on.

Hope the link works.
