Looking for (1) front turn signal with external ground, see photo.
In photo there is an example of both styles of turn signal, the second and more common has all the wiring held in place to the lamp housing by a clear shrink wrap.

I was informed that the type you seek were used on early '68 only, and my Jan. 68 has that style and marked C7Z,so,I assume '67 Mustangs all had them? I hate to "assume" anything because I am usually wrong  ;)

All assembly line lights have the ground and the wires are molded together.

I believe, there are other versions that were used for service parts. One has taped wires. Another has a vinyl tube holding the wires together

The clear boot was a service part.

I believe you are correct, the 1967 light (and p no) carry over to 1968.

Here are my original Jan. '68 pieces. You can see the three wires molded together flat and external ground terminal and the C7ZB markings along the length of wiring. The small metal clamp was installed to prevent wires from separating from each other.

Correct   All 67/68 assembly line lights identical

Key words "assembly line" for '68 units? '67 cars all had the external ground terminal, and EARLY '68 still used C7ZB w/external ground terminal and flat molded wiring, until when? No 1967 part number found in my 75 book? All early '68's should have '67 style? Tough to find the '67 style for some reason......... :o

All 1968 lights are the same. There is no "early" light, with respect to the 1968 production year.

The assembly lights all look like the photo Mike posted in #5 (they should have the red wire staple)
