Chet McFallo, the car's original owner, had 2075 painted like this when he drag raced it back in the 60's. Once he sold it in the early 70's, the car was repainted and the stripes/ graphics were removed. The car was sold last summer at the RM auction in Monterey, CA, and brought to Europe. Using old photos, the buyer replicated the old McFallo Race Team look, and then managed to age them so they match the somewhat tired black paint on the car. The car has since been sold to a new owner in Munich, Germany.

The graphics were not present while the car was on display at SAAC 42 last summer.

One of my best friends, Gary Kadrmas Owned this car for number of years and I have a number of pictures of the car that he sent me.  We also took it to Portland vintage races a few times Where it was used as  The pace lap car on occasion. It also raced a helicopter at PIR one time that was on the TV news that night . I have some pictures that I have to send off to the current owner. One time when I went to visit him I had to go to the store to get a part for my car and when I woke up in the morning there was a key on the kitchen table with a note telling me to go take it and drive one of his cars to the store. I tried it in about 10 different cars that he had And it wouldn't work so I came in and called him  And he said did you try the Cobra and I said no. That was my 1st time to ever drive a Cobra. Got a lot of thumbs up on my way to and from the store.

They are only old once. I wonder if the paint cracks on the front fender are painted on or if a little spirited driving caused the tire to hit the fender and resulting damage prompted doing the rest of the car with patina.
