Hello, Craig. Did you find a steering wheel? Do you know if yours was a slotted type wheel or with 3 holes in each spoke? If you can wait, I am on a quest to get some of the 3 hole (3 in each spoke) wheels made via the original drawings. I need one for 5S243. The first one may be ready by end of January. They have the original tooling, etc. I have a list of 18 people who want them. These never were made by Moto Lita and the wood will be laid up just like the originals and not like the current reproductions. Cost will be around $1000 plus shipping from the UK. I am not in the business so your order would be directed to the company. I am doing this for the love of this important discovery. If you are interested, let me know and I will keep you on the info list. Plus, when I am certain we have the right product, it will be well announced in this forum. Thanks

The steering wheel based on old photos of the car is slotted.  I know of two cars, one a couple numbers earlier than mine, and a couple later, both are slotted.  I might be interested if I cannot locate one, but I truly want an original.  Please keep me posted, and thank you.
