Thanks. I have that one as well. So far FB score is zero.

When I click on the link,  I do not have any option to move forward. It says you must sign in to continue. There are no options to move around that. Unless I am missing something?

Can you try from a computer and not your phone?

Pages that are public should be able to be viewed by anyone, includes them thar folks that don't have a FB account.

My iPhone wants me to log in sometime too.

And you need to recharge your phone...  ;D

Would be nice to have some YS 1967s and 69s for this most awesome article

How about this nice 8-67 Litho stamped by Yates-Stevens? And it will stimulate the '68 Supercharged GT350, not to mention the 427 GT500. Plus Ten spoke wheels are supposed to be on a 68.

I guess I NEED more education........they LOOK like 1968 Shelbys. Are they '67 models dressed to be the new ,'68 model? I used to like the game in the newspaper called "spot seven errors" Beween two "identical" pictures. I flunked this course, big time. Hints ?

Coralsnake

Correct they are 1967s dressed to be new 1968s.

If you think about it, marketing and advertising materials had to be photographed, designed, printed and distributed before the new models hit the showrooms.

In the case of the Cougars, if you look closely at the 1968 dealer brochure you can see that Mercury had artists airbrush the new-for-'68 side marker lights on photos of '67s.

You might want to check out this site if you haven't yet:

FYI I run that Facebook page. I grew up in Mack's garage. My dad was Mack's Cobra & R model from the late 60's & was his crew chief from the mid 70's until he hung up his driving shoes in the early 90's. Feel free to follow or contribute to the page.  If you have any pictures or stories and don't do Facebook. You can email me cobra2race@yahoo.com The picture is my dad & I going out to run some test laps to break in a new engine.
